Facebook Group Pages

Facebook is swarming with tools that can be used by pretty much any business very easily! Today, I want to introduce you to one of the very powerful forms of Facebook advertising. If you’re not dumb and you read the headline, then you of course know I’m talking about Facebook Group Pages!facebook-logo

Facebook group pages can be created by anyone, very easily. It only takes about 2 minutes of your time and it’s very easy to maintain. Facebook groups allow interaction between you, the moderator, and your group members. Members of the group can be allowed to actively contribute content, participate in discussions, add photo’s, videos, etc. The ability for your members to have this level of participation means they’re more likely to come back and see what’s going on.

I find Facebook groups to be most beneficial for quick promotions. There are other tools like Facebook Fan Pages which can be used to promote your business (I’ll touch on these in future article very soon). Facebook groups are better used to promote a specific product, sale, or promotion you have going on with your business that you want to draw quick attention to.

Another great thing about Facebook Groups is that they are public! Most of Facebook is hidden behind a login, but Facebook groups can be seen on search engines and you don’t need a Facebook account to view the groups.

Here’s an example of one of my Facebook Groups, Click Here To Check it Out!

Here’s a great video I made walking you through how to make a Facebook Group:

Here are some other tips for using Facebook Groups:

  • The group name is what is going to make people join. Make it interesting and intriguing!
  • Invite your members to start discussions, or start one for them and invoke responses.
  • As soon as you start your group, USE IT! Upload photos and videos. You want to stay active in your own group!
  • Offer value to your visitors. Give them something they can truly use or find beneficial in some way.
